The CTELL Cases in action!
Screen Shot of CTELL Case The ultimate goal of the CTELL project is to improve children's reading achievement by re-conceptualizing teacher education through case-based, anchored instruction with multimedia cases delivered over the Internet. These cases use QuickTime video to deliver literacy instruction to pre-service teachers via the Internet. They use cutting edge technology to display a breadth of contextual information about literacy instruction in the school and the classroom. The cases provide pre-service teachers with examples of exceptional literacy instruction. The interface enables users to interact with the videos dynamically, allowing them to select interesting segments in a random access fashion. While the cases are still undergoing evaluation, we have included some screen shots that display the initial design of the interface and the cases. <more screen shots> Additional Case Information
