Through an extensive review of the literature, the principal investigators
in the CTELL project have identified 12
Principles of Effective Literacy Instruction. These principals
serve as a basis for the design and assessment of the CTELL cases.
Visit the principles section for a current list of the research
based principles of effective literacy instruction. <principles>

The CTELL group continually updates the research community on the
progress of the project. While not all of the material has been made
available to the public for quality purposes, many of the cases have
been in use in universities as part of a formative evaluation. For
a list of former, current, and upcoming presentations, please visit
the publications and presentations section
of this site. It contains a list of the group's research activities
during the lifespan of the project. This content is prone to updates,
so be sure to return frequently. <publications
